Edinburgh...

After Paolo's little trip around the world it felt good to blow the dust off our own neglected gear, leave the passports at home and head East along the M8 to the City of the Rising Sun. We were looking forward to doing a gig which didn't involve any kind of check-in procedure or security searches and also to doing our own show after all the festivals.

The Edinburgh Corn Exchange is becoming a proper grown up gig and a highlight for any touring band. It was the last night of Edinburgh's Edge Festival and there had been some big names before us. Definitely a great venue for Paolo to showcase some of the new songs.

Liam Gerner warmed things up nicely with a strong set and was joined onstage for a couple of numbers by our Gav on trumpet. Nice one! The response from the fans pointed to this being a great night! Half an hour later, the crowd exceeded all expectations and welcomed Paolo and the guys back home BIG style.

The set list was about 50% 'These Streets' and 50% new stuff. Even threw in 'Ritalin/Fresh Prince' with full audience participation!

It was fantastic to play the new songs to the home crowd... Some of whom seemed to know all the words already!

Verdict... Great show and great to play Edinburgh again!
